Hailing from far across the seas, Gunnar was the Master of Brewing in his home town. Having left for no reason other then "What's out there that I can learn to brew, and teach my skills to?", Gunnar has traveled the world, trading recipes for Mead and other drinks, in exchange for knowledge of new beverages and brews. Eventually, his travels have lead him to the mansion, where, if accepted, he would enter to see what new drinks he could learn from the Mansion's inhabitants.
He keeps a rather large warhammer on him at all times. As he would say "It's as good for caving casks as caving skulls." He's also not a bad shot with a long bow, when he can see straight.
