Drake was born in Alagaesia set 2000 years after the events of Inheritance. Drake's mother and father were both great warriors but only Drake's mother was a dragon rider. Drake's father died in battle, leaving his mother widowed. And when Drake came of age, he was enlisted into the Acadamy of Riders (often abbrievated to just "The Acadamy" by Drake). The dragoness, Blodhjarta, entrusted her egg to Drake at the age of fourteen, it hatched six monthes later and Drake named the hatchling dragon Dracino. Many years of training later, Drake is chosen to test new technology. Through the combination of magic and science a dimensional portal device is created (later named Vortex). Drake is tasked with exploration and the discovery of other species of dragons. Eventually, he wound up in the Equestrian dimension and he liked it so fucking much he bookmarked it.
And, now here's his strength explained:
Drake got trips and the genie of the lamp pops up, Drake being an illiterate fucker says.
"I wish my magic strength was increased"
And the genie mistakes him for wanting super strength, so he gets super strength rather than increased magical prowess or some shit like that.
